McCracken Woodworking is a family-owned and operated wood products manufacturer, specializing in laminated wood products. Established in 1993 and located in the beautiful Haliburton Highlands, all our wood products are crafted by our small, dedicated team to meet individual customer needs.
Our curved, custom-designed canoe seats are used by canoe manufacturers in both Canada and the United States. Although most seats are made to order, we usually have some inventory on hand for DIY canoe crafters!
While canoe seats and accessories are our most in-demand items, we have the capacity to make a wide range of products. Over the years, we have crafted everything from coasters to skateboards! As a small, family-owned and operated business, we are flexible, dependable, and easy to work with. Our goal is to make quality wood products that meet the needs of each individual customer.

Why choose our laminate?
Choosing a laminate wood product allows you to combine different colors of wood veneer for a unique look and strength. The selected veneers are heated in our molds using a 300-ton hydraulic press. Heating the molds reduces the glue curing time significantly, allowing us to produce hundreds of parts in a short period of time, so you receive your items faster!
